The Bilona method yields a small amount of ghee — it takes about 25–30 liters of A2 milk to make just 1 liter of ghee.

On top of that, the milk comes from A2 Indigenous cows like Gir or Sahiwal, which naturally produce less milk compared to hybrid cows — but their milk is richer in nutrients and easier to digest. Yes! Use ghee for medium or moderately high heat cooking(sautéing, roasting, tadka, or baking). Avoid prolonged frying, above its smoke point ( around485°F / 250°C), at extreme temperatures — if it starts smoking, reduce heat immediately.Ghee has a high smoke point, which means you can safely use it for frying, sautéing, or roasting without losing its nutrition or creating harmful compounds.

Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. There’s no need to refrigerate, because when its  refrigerated, the moisture tends to condense on the surface or sides of the jar, creating tiny water pockets. This moisture provides the perfect environment for mold to develop, especially if the jar isn’t tightly sealed or if a wet spoon is used. If stored properly, our ghee stays good for up to 12 months from the date of packaging.
